The V-gouge every printmaker starts with and never puts down. Swiss-forged high-carbon steel, palm handle for fine detail work. The bevel holds an edge through 200+ hours of carving.

Cranfield Caligo Safe Wash
Oil-based · Water cleanup · 250ml
The ink that converted oil-base holdouts. Dense, archival black that rolls out to a buttery film. Washes from rollers with warm water. Dries to a matte surface that holds detail in the grain.

Hand-formed in Tokushima Prefecture. The slight texture grabs ink at a molecular level — pull a hosho print and the ink feels embedded, not sitting on top. Holds moisture for dampened printing without tearing.
